Martha Eugenia Segura - Principal Associate

Martha Eugenia Segura, is a Principal Associate at SEGURA as well as of SEGURA Consultores SAS in Bogotá, Colombia.  She has significant domestic and international experience in the negotiation of civil society alliances for the implementation of public policies, and also in the design of strategies to increase the participation of vulnerable populations, including gender considerations, youth protection and development and displaced persons.  Her track record includes the direction and coordination of technical teams in a variety of projects like health, education, rural development public sector reform and labor re-training programs.

Ms. Segura has over 30 years of professional experience in both the public and private sectors and has held important management positions such as Executive Director of the Colombian Federation of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and others.

She obtained her undergraduate degree in Social Communications and her Masters in Rural Development from the Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia, as well as a Master of Public Administration degree in  Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.  Besides Spanish and English, Ms. Segura speaks German fluently.
