In 2003 we created SEGURA/IP3 Partners LLC, a joint venture with the Institute of Public Private Partnership (IP3), to provide consulting services to USAID and developing countries worldwide under two specific IQC contracts. In 2010, SEGURA acquired IP3’s minority interest and is now the single prime contractor of USAID’s SEGIR GBTI II (Global Business Trade & Investment II) IQC.

Tetra Tech & SEGURA Consulting LLC Awarded USAID’s Colombia Enhanced Livelihood Program (CELI)

SEGURA Consulting LLC, serving as subcontractor to Tetra Tech, Inc. has been awarded a five-year contract to provide technical assistance to the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Colombia. Under the single-award Consolidated and Enhanced Livelihood Initiative-Central Region (CELI-Central) program, Tetra Tech and SEGURA will help USAID strengthen the Colombian government, increase access to justice, and improve delivery of basic infrastructure and services.


New Contract Awarded

SEGURA Consulting  and Manchester Trade were awarded the Evaluation of the Regional and Bilateral Programs to support Trade Compliance under CAFTA-DR. During the next three months the team will visit El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Dominican Republic to evaluate the effectiveness of USAID implementing instruments in all these countries.

First RBI Project Event a Success

January 10, 2011


SEGURA Consulting completed successfully the first activity of the Regional Business Initiative in Amman Jordan on December 14-16, 2010. The core of this event was business-to-business (B2B) meetings between 84 representatives from 66 companies from Jordan, Iraq and the West Bank. The following sectors were represented: Construction, Transportation, Manufacturing, Banking and Finance, Pharmaceutical, Agro-business and Food, and Textile. Central America Contract

December 27, 2010


SEGURA Consulting was contracted by USAID to conduct a series of studies to identify the main obstacles to strengthening the environment for doing agribusiness in Central America.  The initiative has started in Guatemala, where the team has developed a specific methodological approach to be replicated in the other countries included in the effort. The team will continue its work, first in Nicaragua and then Honduras.  All three countries are eligible for support from the Feed the Future initiative. The SEGURA work is intended to provide key findings and recommendations to the missions as they program their FTF resources and develop their country strategies. A decision will be made at the end of the work in Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Honduras whether to undertake additional studies in Costa Rica, El Salvador, and/or the Dominican Republic.
