SEGURA/IP3 Partners LLC was awarded a Task Order (TO) under its SEGIR General Business Trade and Investment II (GBTI II) Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for the evaluation and sustainability assessment of the AERA projects implemented by the Kenan Institute Asia (K.I.Asia) under USAID’s Accelerating Economic Recovery in Asia program (AERA), and recommendations to work with K.I.Asia for mutual development goals in the region after completion of the current cooperative agreement.

The evaluation focused on private sector, public health, and environmental activities carried out under AERA Cooperative Agreement by KIAsia between September 30, 2003 and December 31, 2007. The evaluation team also prepared a self-sustainability assessment of KIAsia. As a result of these analyses, the evaluation team provided an assessment of the concept of USAID‘s use of KIAsia as a ―legacy mechanism.
